If you are booking for 2 or more people, please fill in their names and your relationship to them. Also ages of children.
We particularly need to know of any; A) Physical disabilities as being on the island often involves engaging in physical work, travelling on a boat to and from the island and being able to walk around the island B) Any infectious disease you have or suspect you may have C) If you need special medical or therapeutic care D) Any allergies E) Have you had your Tetanus Vaccination or anything else that you feel we need to know? All answers will be treated with respect, compassion and full confidentiality.
Almost all meals are entirely vegetarian, however very occasionally there is meat included in some of the meals although this is always accompanied by a vegetarian option.
Please describe any other dietary requirements. It might not be possible to include these requirements into the communal meals, if so we will contact you to see how it could work.
Some of our residents live with a dog. Are you open to staying in a cottage where a dog lives?
Some of our residents live with cats. Are you open to staying in a cottage where cats live?
This can be as short or as long as you would like. If you are unsure as what to write, here are some 'guidelines' you may find useful: Your spiritual background, if any, and why you want to visit. This introduction of yourself is an outreach to the community before you arrive and will help us get to know you a little better and also help the community and the weeks focaliser to be more prepared. Include in your own words, an outline of your present life (this could cover your present circumstances, your life choices, those people who are important to you, what inspires you, your joys and challenges, and so on). If you have — or have had — any emotional or health difficulties, we would like to know if and how these are affecting your life now.
